Our local SCV Camp is compiling a list of all Confederate Veterans buried in Rockingham County, Virginia. As expected, we are encountering some problems identifying some of the men.

A local period newspaper article and cemetery records indicate the identified man was buried in the Confederate Section, Woodbine Cemetery, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Additionally, the record indicates he died in one of the hospitals in Harrisonburg.

However, only his partial name and unit are known. We would like to have his complete name, date of birth, death, and basic military history, including rank at death.

We recognize the fact that his name may be misspelled.
