My wife has friends believing that's my real name.
The only "L" Boring/Boren/Borin I can locate who was an officer served in Co. "G", 14th Illinois Cavalry Regiment. Several Borings were Confederate officers, but none with a first name starting with the letter "L". Guess it's time to do some family research!
