I like you have been trying to find out details,I
have a book that I bought 7 to 8 years ago by a writer
from Martin,Tn and it said the same.If you can advise me
back on any info I would be Very Thankful. Also there was a Catain W.L. Bromley who wrote a diary during his days with the battalion that may have the reason. My Grandfather was a Sgt. with this Unit.
