There are no diary entries I possess which note him.

Company G Called into service at Mossy Creek, Tenn., October 19, 1861(M861 Roll 54) with men from Jefferson Co.

Cunningham, Joseph, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted for 12 months April 4, 1862 at Knoxville, Tenn., left sick in hosptial at Louden, Tenn. December 26, 1862, rejoined regiment at Vicksburg, Miss. April 4, 1863, , captured and paroled at Vicksburg July 4-9, 1863, not present at March 10, 1864 muster (M268 Roll 291)
