Pvt. John C. McClure was a member of the 70th Ohio, wounded at Shiloh. He died of Typhoid at Fort Pickering at Memphis. Does anyone have any idea how to find records of burials from Fort Pickering. I have his records from NARA which only give his place and cause of death, not where he was buried. I know he was not returned to Ohio.
