I have previously used the locators given by Alan Pitts and Paul Beck. The John McClure l;isted in Memphis died in 1865, whereas my John McClure died in 1862. I am trying to see if anyone knows how to find any medical records to indicate where he is buried and to find out if it is the Mississippi Riverbank Cemetary. If so I will know that he is one of the over 3000 listed as unknown. Then I can possibly get a monument put up through the VA saying he is buried there.
