I've got a history of a local Methodist Church in Sullivan County, ( Rock Springs.) It has a photo of Union Veterans at a reunion at Bay's Mountain I believe. Some were in Company G of the 8th Cav ( Sullivan County )some I think were in the 4th Cav. It also has a article on William " Uncle Billy " Depew a Chaplin with the 8th that became a noted " circuit riding " preacher in the area after the war. My ancestor Jackson Blakely, was in Co.G of the 8th Cav. and died a p.o.w. in Va.
