I got the information from the Indiana state archives on Camp Morton. I have a copy of the original roster of prisoners and he is undoubtedly there with many of his friends, neighbors, and kin. Also, I have records from the National Archives that support my time line. I have the testimony of one of my relatives that was taken after the war of what they did and he relates their capture at Staunton Va. in detail. One of my other relatives that was with him died in Camp Morton. There is definitely some confusion. Remember this is Carter's 1st CSA cav. There were 2 others that I know of. I am still trying to find the full name of JS Cunningham. Thanks
