Sixteenth Kentucky at the Battle of Franklin

I am working on the Sixteenth Kentucky infantry, a unit made up of men from Mason, Fleming, Lewis, Bracken and Whiley counties in Kentucky. I plan on publishing the writings of a member of the Sixteenth, doing a bio on the author with a summation of the Sixteenth's service with special emphasis on Franklin. I am especially interested in the post war controversary that developed between the Sixteenth Kentucky and the One Hundred and Fourth Ohio concerning who was where, when and who did what. There has been but little work on most of the Kentucky Union regiments and any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks,
