Thanks for the tips, Alan. I have already used most of them over the years. I was told by the Tennessee State Archives, they "Did not have the time or the personal to search the archives for one regiment, at any price". I have the Service Records on several men that were in the 11th, but these were very limited with information. One very good source I've found is the book, "They Rode With Forrest and Wheeler", by John E Fisher. Thanks again for the very good tips. Bob
