I have a listing for the 1st Tn Cavalry, Co I. I cannot find a CO I anywhere. James Monroe Campbell from Hickman/Lewis county served in this unit and it is listed on his headstone. Was this a company formed from other companies? He was a POW and have found him listed with this same information. Any help?
