I am trying to find out information on rail line raids performed by Wilder's 17th Indiana Mounted Regiment, Company D on or about November 27, 1863. The raids were conducted on the rail line which passes through Cleveland, TN. I know there were skirmishes which occurred since my ancestor died of wounds received during one of the skirmishes. Any information our sources would be appreciated!
