I found the soldier who had the flag.He's buried a mile from me here in Texas and I put a CSA marker on his grave.Am in process now of tracking down the soldiers descendents and the descendents of the soldier who brought the flag to reunion at Columbia and brought it back to Texas.Have found a few so far but not the one yet with the flag.Or at least none that are talking.

Lets hope that the soldier did not have the flag buried with him.Would that not have been unusual? The flag is not in any museums or repositories that I know of.
