No idea about regiment and company. My only note says that he was taken prisoner at Ft Donelson and was being transported to Lafayette when he died and was buried at Crawfordsville. I have no idea where the information came but the source is a man I know and he was usually reliable. He is dead now, so I can't ask about his source.
