Bate's CS Division, for example, got lost; Cleburne was in reserve and Maney's skirmished at best.
If you can find a copy of William Scaife's book on the Atlanta Campaign his detailed maps, although slightly off, have who exactly was deployed and were who who really had a lot of fighting as well as who did not. The bulk of the CS attack fell to about 6 brigades to the left of Maney's positions which was about a half-division front further right than depicted on the Scaife map.
