Wasn't Albert Sidney Johnson killed at Shiloh? I have a great grandfather whose tombstone says he was a guard for Albert Sidney Johnson..I have been unable to confirm this..I can't find his war records and he is buried in a Military cemetery..He spent his last years in the Confederate Home at Ardmore OK..When the Veterans administration took over the home they tossed out all the old records, so none exists there..Since his name is James Parker (no middle inital is available) I have not been able to find anything...Can you help me.
