Perhaps we should take this discussion to the ALCWMB, but regarding your question, the only wartime photo of a member of the 5th Alabama Battalion, that I've seen is of Lt. William Frierson Fulton of Company "A" (North Sumter Rifles) from his book "FAMILY RECORD AND WAR REMINISCENCES...".

I think I have a copy of this photo somewhere, but I'll need to search for it.
