We cross paths again! Thanks again for your assistance with my gg-uncle John F. Burk of the 26th TN (1st Conf. Inf). I recently discovered that 2 of his first cousins belonged to the 43rd Tennessee. They are James A. Burk and William A. Burk of Hamilton Co., TN and were both in company K. Do you have any info on these two gentlemen? Please let me know about your forthcoming book on the regiment.
