Jim,

You are going to be at the end of the Tullahoma campaign. You can also go to Cowan, at the foot of the Cumberland Mountains as well as sites in that area for the campaign.

As Sam stated, there is a silk Polk Corps flag at the University Library on display - one of three that survive from the 45 made in Memphis in late January, 1862 - that may be the flag used to show the troops of the Army of Mississippi what flags that the army used on the march to Shiloh (along with Hardee and Bragg pattern flags). There is also an ANV Fourth Bunting issue taken at Spanish Fort, AL in 1865 that comes from one of the Texas units of Ector's Brigade. I think they have a third flag but I forget what it is.

The University Cemetery has graves for Francis Asbury Shoup, the only CS general from Indiana and designer of the River Line in the Atlanta Campaign as well as Edmund Kirby Smith among others.

Have fun.
