Let's please not forget that on this day, Sam Davis was hung. He was a true soldier and man of the highest character. I was in Pulaski a few weeks ago, and visited (again) the momument of him on the courthouse square, the site of his hanging, and the site of his capture in Minor Hill.
May his memory not be forgotten.
