Outstanding Virgil! On an interesting note.Did you ever see the movie The Horse Soldiers with John Wayne as Grierson? Of course its not terribly accurate but very entertaining.Hugh Simmons tells about being a child down in Louisiana when they filmed it back in 1959 or so.The actors in their federal uniforms came into the town for lunch on occasion and it created quite a stir!

Im sure you have been to Port Hudson on occasion.I need to go there sometime and also check out Clinton,Jackson and SW Mississippi.
