George, As always great information. You are correct with the muster roll listing his death in error as Nov/Dec 1863. Two family letters speak of him losing his life in the Battle of Jonesboro,Ga. One other note FamilySearch.org lists his death as September 1, 1864. Thanks for your help i really appreciate it.....Steve
