Sgt. Benjamin H. Ferguson

My great great grandfather was Capt. B. H. Ferguson, a river boat captain on his boat the "Ocoee".. During the civil war he was Sgt. Benjamin H. Ferguson and served with the 3rd Co. F 35th Tenn. CSA. He served under a Capt. Spears, Capt. Brown and a Maj. Hawkins. I have some of his records that indicate he was severely wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga. He is also listed as a deserter at Tunnel Hill. He has a brother buried in Citizens Cemetery, Chattanooga. His name was Syeign K. Ferguson but the cemetery record has him as S. K. Ferguson who served with the 4th VA. Infantry.
