I am doing some research an an individual named Wilson Clepper who served as a confederate soldier in the 43rd Tennesse Regiment Co. "E". Organized November 5, 1861 at Rogersville, Hawkins County. What I know, is that he was born in 1839 and died June 28, 1863 during the siege of Vicksburg. What I really need to know is specific information about the company, where he was from, and what he would have been doing. I am trying to write an historical diary account of his time as a soldier as accurate as I can make it. I'm not sure if information as specific as this is available, but anything helps!
