I live in East Texas, in wood county. Pine Mills is outside of Quitman Texas. I looked up the differnt cannons produced during the civil war and the was several it could have came from, like the 1863 model parrott rifle, it fired a 3 inch round ball. The problem is there was no documented ingagements within 100 miles of this location that i know of or could find.
