Can anyone tell me how to locate this company and commander without knowing the regiment?? I looking for William Leftwich who served under Capt. Nelson in Clarksville, TX in 1863. William enlisted in Cass County, Tx in 1863 and was killed by a deserter in Jan 1864. Any help would be appreciated.
