I found a R. Fitzpatrick, Private Company D, 66th Georgia Infantry.
Also, a Robert Fitzpatrick, 2nd Lieutenant, Captain Clarkson's Battery - Arkansas Light Art. (Helena Artillery).

If he was born in TN. his family could have moved to GA. or Ark. then he moved to Texas after the war like so many other family's did.

I found another Texas listing for a Thomas Hardee, Private Company I, Timmon's Regement Texas Infantry.

There are a lot of Thomas Hardee's from other States.
