The Combined Service Record of my gg-uncle, Archibald Tittle, 2nd Texas Cav/2nd Texas Mounted Rifles,shows as the final entry a handwritten notation, dated April 23, 1864 "Galveston - died in hospital."Anyone know if records exist on Galveston hospitals, and where their deceased would be buried. He had 3 brothers in CSA service, but dont believe his remains ever left Galveston. Jack T.
