The Rosenberg Library in Galveston has interment records that cover the Civil War period. They may well be able to help you out. As far as burial goes, the Rosenberg also has a series of books written by a wonderful lady named Linda McBee (who is active in the UDC and who is called "the Cemetery Lady" around Galveston). It is likely that her books will be able to help you out as she has taken all available records and made detailed lists for most of the major cemeteries on the Island. Hope this helps.
