It is very unlikely that your gg grandfather was a prisoner of war for even one day, much less two months. He was paroled after the end of the war, as were most all Confederate soldiers. That parole has nothing to do with him ever being a prisoner. It means that he gave his word not to fight against the Yankees any more. The war was over, the Confederate soldiers were paroled, and they went home and back to their lives.
