I received a copy of the application for pension by Francis A. Winslett from the State of Tx Archives, they just needed more information which she failed to provide she was eligible, died while living with her son Asberry Winslett at Lipan, Tx.. I have a photo of her with her daughter, Margaret, son, Joseph and Asberry.
My grandfather, John Wesley Winslett, SR. and wife Alice Hamilton lived at Thurber at one time. They later located in Oklahoma in Eastern Oklahoma and are buried at Limestone Gap, Ok.. They had 7 children and only 3 left when they left there. The information I have is that after Jesse Coleman Winslett's death the family lived at Morgan Mill, Erath Co., and at Lipan, Tx., Hood County. The information you gave should help and I will look at the Web sites.
