This is my ggg grand mothers brother. At the beginning of the civil war he hauled supplies to Ft. Towash on the Brazos river. At age 19 he joined the confederate army and served in Sam Fauatts Company (calvary) and stationed at Ft. Phamton Hill. Can anyone tell me more about the co. reg. and so on? I think it was a indian fighting area near Abilene. Did they see any combat with u.s. troops? Thanks Mark
