W.R. Bynum, Pvt in Hubbard's Texas Inf, is my great, great grandfather. I have his military papers and his pension papers. Recently, with the help of a distant relative I was able to find the gravesite and see and photograph his civil war headstone. In case anyone else is looking for the Bynum Cemetery in Camp County, TX, it is hard to find, but it overlooks the Bob Sandlin Lake off Hwy ll. 1 acre of land has been deeded to the Bynum family for this cemetery. Other than the papers I have are there battles in which his company E, 22 Texas Infantry fought in and where.
