6th Regt Tx Infantry

I'm looking for information on the 6th Tx Infantry. My wife's distant uncle was a sgt in Co C of the 6th Inf. His name was W. R. (William Roach) BELLINGER. I've pulled the info from CWSS for him and the regt but am interested in a list of battles that the 6th may have been engaged in.

Anyone know more info than what's on CWSS? Thanks.

By the way, we have recently been given transcripts of letters written in the 1930's by members of this family who described what they went through during the war. Much of this Bellinger family (and the Beaumonts) moved to Monterrey, Mexico for at least year, or for the whole war in the case of some of them.

She mentioned never seeing her uncle William Bellinger (with the 6th Tx Inf) after that time. I don't know if he died in the war, or what.
