My gg greatgrandmother was Rachel Brooks Beckner. I have two dates of birth, either Feb 21, 1823 or April 24, 1824. She was married ro Benjamin Beckner on on Oct 5, 1837 in Johnson Co MO. I do know that they moved to the Dallas TX area after their marriage. I just found that she was buried in this cemetery. I am assuming that this cemetery is for Confederate soldiers and their families. I wonder if you can provide any information regarding this family. I have no information at this time regarding Benjamin's death date or place of burial. Their daughter Sarah Ellen married Barney Banks Kemp who did serve in the Conferderate army. I don't have those particular details with me at the moment but do remember that he enlisted in Fort Worth in 1862.
