Hello. I was just browsing and came across some of the history of the 5th Texas Inf. My greatgrandfather was Sgt. Myron Evans, Co. B, 16th Michigan Inf., and these two regiments fought it out more than once during the course of the war, but at Gettysburg on Little Round Top they both were made famous. Thanks,Gene.
