After mailing in the VA marker forms, it took about seven months to obtain two of my g.grandfathers VA Confederate markers via UPS. They are heavy bronze markers. One of the VA forms was "lost" and I had to resubmit the form. Keep copies of the form so you can easily fill out another one just in case. There is one lady in the VA office that is a great help to applicants for the Confederate VA grave markers.
