Concerning the 19th Texas Infantry. We have great grandfathers going back 4 & 5 generations who served in Company A -- both were in the Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana area around 1856 -- named Jacob Sisco and son Daniel F. Sisco. No listing for them in the 1860 Census or thereafter. Any ideas on where I can find out where they were living when they enlisted or if they survived? We are unable to trace them after the CW -- only have their names.
