Charles Underwood Brady's widow, Mary V. Brady, applied for and was approved for Confederate pension # 18366 from the State of Texas for his service. www.tsl.state.tx.us/arc/pensions/index.php should get you to the Texas site. You can search on name etc, and obtain directions for obtaining a copy of the application. If I remember correctly you e-mail them the request and they will include a bill (small amount) when they send you the copy. Pensions had varying amounts of information but should include some details on Brady's service.
