I have two ancestors that were at the Battle of Mansfield. J.W. Conner Co I Johnsons 14th Cav. (KIA) . And Robert T. Conner Co K 1st Texas Inf. (WIA). My question, is the same 1st Texas Inf. that fought in the east. And if so how did they end up in the western theatre.
