Home front events are being organized and held at Henkel Square in Round Top. These are first person immersion events to interpret the reaction in Texas to different events between 1861 and 1865. A couple of weekends ago we had a secession event. The next event is planned for May 2011 and will center around the recruiting and sending off of troops.
