Texans convicted of desertion

When Texas Confederate soldiers, in Texas, were convicted of desertion and sentenced to months of hard labor with ball and chain, where did they serve their time? at Huntsville? Do records of transportation and incarceration still exist?

I'm looking at three men from Scott Anderson's command who were convicted at the same time that Lt. Nick Hardeman (cousin of William P. and Peter Hardeman) was simply convicted, reduced in rank, and turned over to a conscript officer.
