Are these the three you are researching?

Pvt Ed Schultz Co G, Charge desertion, found guilty and sentenced to 3 months hard

labor with ball and chain and under guard. (Full name John Edward Schultz.)

Pvt J H Herron Co I, Charge desertion, found guilty and sentenced to 3 months hard

labor under guard.

Pvt Wm. Reed Co K, Charge desertion, found guilty and sentence to 3 months hard labor

under guard.

The 3 privates where escorted under guard to Galveston where they were turned over to the

Commander Post of Galveston who was charged with carrying out their sentences.

Looking thru my notes trying to find referance for this information. Will post when I find it in what my wife calls my "rats nest".
