Is the Last Prison still in publication and for sale? My great great grandfather, David A. Pierce, 24th Missouri Co I, at Camp Groce after the Battle of Pleasant Hill LA in April 1864. He was paroled in December 1864 from Galveston and sent to a hospital in New Orleans. He died in 1878 from consumption contracted during his time as a prisoner at Camp Groce...trying to fill in the blanks from time of capture to time of parole...this book would be an immense help. Hope it is still available.
