Hi Paige. From what I understand, the book is still in the works. I'll post on here once I find out it's for sale. I may have a little info for you though. First, you mentioned James "Austin" Priestly. There is a big debate in the Priestly line if his middle name was "Austin". Personally, I've never seen it used on any official documents. His Republic of Texas Headright Certificate does not show it (I have a copy of this if you would like). None of his Confederate files mention it. I am big into finding photos, but unfortunately none of your descendant David Priestly. I do have a pic of David's brother Austin Adelbert. Also of David's half-siblings William Phylander, James Polk and Mary Eliza, all whose mother was Elizabeth Ragsdale. I am descended from James Polk. Have some info on James Priestly's activity in Regulator-Moderator War in East Texas during the Republic and his wounds/capture/escape/capture during the Civil War from books if you are interested.
