Awhile ago, I accidentally came across the following, but was in a hurry and failed to copy the source and the county where the individual was from. Am hoping that someone has additional information.
Wm. Scarbrough enlisted in the 1st Reg't Texas State Troops, Cavalry, Co. B, and served as 2nd Lt. He served 6 months - 1863-1864. Additionally, the Reg't was a militia unit, or so I believe.
