Don't know where to start. Looking for information on brother of gggrandfather, William Wood from Angelina County, TX. Have no other information other than his family information and that he was killed as a result of the civil war, which could have been in a prisoner of war camp or in battle. How do I find out which group he would have been assigned? Thanks for any help!
