Marie, A couple of days ago I was at the library and looking at microfilms of the Galveston News.In the issue for June 7 ,1864 is an article. It says Camp in the field near Washington May 29, 1864.It lists casualties for the 32nd Texas Cav. Under Co. G it lists killed Louis Roeder. Wounded Sgt.W.A.Taylor severely in leg ; Sgt. B.F. Harber wounded and not heard from , Pvt. H. F. Kelsoe severe in shoulder , S. Braun slight to arm , H.T. Lowery head slight. It makes one think that he possibly was included with the other Sgt. not heard from. the other men according to Broadfoot Publishing are Louis Von Roeder , Henry F. Kelso , Silvanus Brown , and Henry T. Lowry
Good Luck
