I lived within 8 miles of Camp Nelson where many Texans died.
I am at times a walking textbook on parts of my family inlcuding the impact the
Civil War had on my ancestors and I am now 65. I am doing my best
to just get some of my stories down and doing quite well with it at the time.
To my way of thinking it is critical that this part of our nation's history be documented.
