The people of Hill College lost their nerve and now call the Texas Confederate Historical Research Center to Texas Hertiage Center. I mis-spell and don't have time to look up(dyslexic). But they have at least two sets of Federal Records on the War of the Rebellion and and then some. I was there before Dr. Simpson died and I have a autographed copy of Hood Texas Brigade. It was also the site of the Austin Civil War Symposium of Texas and had a number of national personalities show up.

Was there on two of these events. That was the early 1990's. That maybe a place to start. I have gotten my great grandfathers letter on my website and posted some of the other stuff I have found.

The yankees have put out a new book on how they were involved in the slave trade, and how they supported it and helped it stay around for a long while. Even in the dark land itself. Estimated to cause the deaths of 2 million people there. (Ivory Trade) Any way, That may be a start for us, she might want to contact the school in Arkansas.
